Charisma Carpenter Unlikely to Return to Veronica Mars
Buffy alum Charisma Carpenter doubts she’ll be asked back to reprise her role as Kendall Casablancas in the Veronica Mars movie. “Kendall died, so I don’t really see that happening!” Carpenter said to Digital Spy, when asked of her chances of returning.
Still, Carpenter points out, there may be flashbacks, in which her trophy wfe character could feature. She hasn’t heard anything from Mars creator Rob Thomas though, and so doesn’t think that’s likely to happen. But Carpenter had so much fun during her time on the show that she would “without a doubt” return as Kendall if asked: “If the fans could speak, now would be a good time!” she urged.
I love Rob Thomas, I love Jason Dohring and I love Kristen Bell – working on Veronica Mars, I just enjoyed her as a person. She’s a sweet girl and she’s a person that I respect and admire.
So far, the confirmed just Kristen Bell (Veronica Mars), Jason Dohring (Logan Echolls) and Max Greenfield (Deputy Leo). But chances seem likely that Percy Daggs III (Wallace Fennel), Tina Majorino (Mac) and Enrico Colantoni (Keith Mars) will appear. Ryan Hansen (Dick Casablancas; Kendall’s stepson) starred in the Kickstarter video, which suggests he’s also likely to be attached to the project.
